I was working at the cash register today. There was this one girl, maybe about fifteen, wearing sort of trendy clothes and a big poofy hat. She was totally silent through the entire transaction until I handed her the change, at which point she looked me dead in the eyes and said "Buckle up when you drive tonight." I looked at her kind of funny. She looked like she was about to start crying. Voice wavering, she said "No, seriously, it's dangerous out there. My mom..." then she quickly walked out the door, looking at the ground the whole way.
Retail is weird.
So anyway, in music news, I just finished another album-worthy song. I've been very critical of myself lately. However, for the next month I'm putting the album on the back-burner to work on a Christmas EP, which will be available for download on Christmas Eve Day. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's tentatively titled "A Very Slippy Christmas", but I'm not too attached to that name. If y'all have a better idea, email me [adhesiveslipper@headhat.net].
Later.
